Southend High Street KFC and others latest hygiene ratings


New food hygiene ratings have been handed to 11 Southend eateries including the city’s High Street KFC.

0 – urgent improvement necessary

1 – major improvements necessary

2 – improvements necessary

3 – business generally satisfactory

4 – business good on assessment

5 – business seen as very good

The scores

The Food Standards Agency’s website shows new ratings have been given to a range of restaurants, cafes, pubs and takeaways in the Southend area.

It is good news for KFC in Southend High Street as the popular fast food restaurant has been given a five-out-of-five rating when it was inspected on June 24.
