Tottenham stabbing: Teenage boy rushed to hospital after being attacked in fast food restaurant


A teenager was earlier today (May 7) rushed to hospital after he was knifed in broad daylight earlier today. Police were called to High Road, in Tottenham, at about 6.50pm following reports of a knife attack at a takeaway.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 18:50hrs on Saturday, May 7 to High Road N17 following reports of a stabbing at a fast food restaurant. Officers responded.

“Following a search a teenage boy was found outside a supermarket with a stab injury. He has been taken to hospital; his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

“There have been no arrests at this stage. Crime scenes are in place and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information that could help police should call 101 ref CAD 6418/7 May.”

Pictures taken at the scene show an air ambulance landing on a nearby playing field and a large emergency services presence in the street, with police and ambulances stopped along the road. A cordon is also in place around where the attack happened.
